The tradition of good food and a connection with the region is even reflected in the family coat of arms – with symbols for ‘food and drink’. Taste the region

It is not just in the kitchen that Head Chef Edi and his crew use a great deal of the produce from our own farm, including meat, milk and dairy produce, along with freshly laid eggs.

Right at the farm there is even the opportunity to discover the cuisine of the Pinzgau region and to get a few treats to take home with you as a delicious holiday memento, during cheese tasting sessions, a ‘Hutessen’ or an Alpine snack. In summer our guests enjoy an Alpine breakfast at the farm, and throughout the year the dairy at the farm can be used for exclusive celebrations in a cosy setting.

On the mountain in a cosy, Alpine atmosphere, the dairy at the farm on the Zwölferkogel offers a relaxing setting for events of up to 25 people high above Hinterglemm.

Alpine breakfast on the farm

When in the summer, the guests staying in our 4 star Superior hotel, together with the landlord Jacky, hike with a posse of children and lots of animals to the farm on the Alpine pasture, they are already looking forward to a special experience – their Alpine breakfast. In a dreamy mountain setting you get to enjoy culinary delectations – in the middle of fresh mountain air and surrounded by the lush Alpine pastures, on which the cows graze. During a visit to the farm, Toni reveals the art of milking to guests, while Jacky makes butter with them in the wonderful dairy in the Unterschwarzachhof.
