Located on the mountain in a cosy, Alpine atmosphere, with lovely detailing, the dairy at the farm on the Zwölferkogel provides a relaxing setting for events of up to 35 people, high above Hinterglemm. One special Alpine culinary offer is the typical Pinzgau ‘Hutessen’, that we are happy to serve on request in the dairy.
Cheese tasting & Alpine experience
In the dairy you have the chance to watch host Jacky Hasenauer making butter and cheese, and sample the produce too of course. The aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air, making your mouth water.
Guests staying in the 4*S Hotel Unterschwarzachhof adore heading to the Alpine pasture during the summer with Jacky, to make butter with her and then sample it on some freshly baked bread with fresh herbs from the hotel's own garden, or with some well-matured cheese made by host Toni Hasenauer – a special Alpine pasture experience.
Hutessen in Pinzgau
Enjoy a special culinary highlight in the Pinzgau region (Zell am See district). During a convivial get-together (min. 15 people) enjoy quality, regional produce, which you freshly prepare yourself on the ‘Tartarenhut’, a metal hat that is heated by a direct flame, in much the same was as fondue. The ‘hat’ itself is the grill. A delicious beef broth with vegetables is prepared in the brim of the hat; this then pours over the meat, making the flavour of the meal more intense and tasty as the meal goes on. Various sauces, salads and baked items are served too. A social occasion you will remember for a long time to come. The typical Pinzgau Hutessen is an exceptional, Alpine culinary dish which we serve on request for you and your guests in the dairy.
