An Alpine adventure for all the family
When in the summer there is a great deal of hustle and bustle in Der Unterschwarzachhof early in the morning and footsteps can be heard scurrying about Der Unterschwarzachhof, plates and kitchen cupboards clatter, and the otherwise so lavish buffet is empty – that’s the time there will be the weekly Alpine pasture breakfast at the farm on the mountain. This is the day it’s worth getting up on time to head up to the farm. Many guests hike, the sporty ones take their mountain bikes, those who enjoy a long lie take the hotel taxi or the cable car, then hike the remaining section.
Children in particular adore hiking with their sponsored animals and the lovely creatures from the mini farm from the hotel over the pastures and on the Alpine paths up the mountain. Even the littlest infants hike along, filled with motivation.
An experience for all the senses.
Breakfast on the Alpine pasture
A pure idyll awaits on the mountain. On the expansive pastures next to the farm the tables are covered with white linen and lovely crockery. The meadow flowers and mountain peaks light up under Glemmtal’s blue sky. A copiously bedecked table, featuring delicious regional foods, gets your mouth watering.
The wood-fired baking oven is glowing hot; Toni’s cows are grazing on the pasture, whose milk is used to make the summer butter, yoghurt and fresh cheese. The colourful, fruity jams don’t just claim to be ‘home-made’, they really are. The herbs used in the fresh cream cheese grow behind the hotel.
