Accounts Receivable & Administration m|f|d
- from 1st December 2026
- part-time
- Annual position
Ready for the next big step? Do you enjoy working with figures, but would like more variety than traditional bookkeeping offers? Do you like it when accounts balance, outstanding items are resolved and figures are transparent – and would you like to work more closely with the business, dealing with different departments?
The Unterschwarzachhof has grown over generations. Today, our family business comprises the 4*S Hotel, the Schwarzacher, the Schmiedalm, the riding stables, the wellness centre and various event venues – and our administration is just as diverse. Hotel bills, advance payments, corporate clients, events, vouchers, credit card payments and various profit centres all come together here.
Your Role
You make sure everything behind the numbers checks out. Your focus is on accounts receivable and commercial administration.
Accounts Receivable & Commercial Administration
- Continuously monitor open guest receivables and debtor accounts, so nothing goes unnoticed
- Check and post incoming payments and deposits, and prepare open-items lists, so the overview is always current
- Monitor payment deadlines and run the dunning process, so open items get resolved quickly
- Resolve payment and invoice discrepancies as well as chargebacks, so everything is traceable in the end
- Check corporate, event, tour operator, OTA and voucher billing, so even complex payment paths are handled cleanly
- Review credit card, terminal and online payments daily, so payment flows stay accurate in near real time
- Support till and daily closings as well as preparing accounting documents and invoice checks
- Support our accountant with monthly and annual closings as well as account reconciliation and maintenance
- Handle commercial correspondence and document management, so administration and operations work together smoothly
- Coordinate closely with Reservations and Front Office – for example on deposits, guest accounts, corporate billing, events or open payments
Making the Numbers Visible
- Update our revenue dashboard daily and review daily revenue figures, so management always has current numbers
- Prepare reports by business area as well as weekly and monthly reports, so decisions rest on reliable data
- Maintain key metrics and support digitalization and automation projects, so our administrative processes keep improving step by step
Your Profile
You enjoy working with numbers, work precisely, and keep the overview even with many details. You're a good fit if you like working in a structured, independent way, are reliable, and enjoy collaborating with different departments.
- Completed commercial training, e.g. HAK, HLW or comparable, so you start with a solid foundation
- Experience in accounting, tax consulting, accounts receivable or commercial administration
- Good understanding of accounting and business fundamentals, plus experience with open items and dunning
- Very good MS Office and especially Excel skills; experience with accounting software, DATEV a plus
- Enthusiasm for digital processes and new systems, so you can actively help shape our digitalization
- Precision, discretion and absolute trustworthiness when handling sensitive figures
- Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required – what matters most is that you understand numbers, work carefully, and enjoy learning our processes

Our Culture
Work professionally, collaborate personally: we're a family business, not an anonymous hotel group. Our owners are present in daily operations, decisions get made directly, and the paths between administration and operations are short. You'll work closely with an experienced accountant who has known our business for many years, while also staying in touch with Front Office, Reservations, Service, F&B and management – a solid professional foundation, plus plenty of room to take ownership of your own area.
What to look forward to
Your own area of responsibility in accounts receivable, not just bookkeeping – with varied commercial tasks and direct contact with Reservations, Front Office and other departments. Involvement in digitalization and modern administrative processes, short decision-making paths in a family business, and a long-term perspective rather than a fixed-term seasonal role.
