Currently only advantage passes are available. Day tickets will be available for sale from 01 October 2024
Advantage passes are non-personalised multi-day tickets, i.e. transferable to other persons if required. (approx. 15 % discount compared to the day ticket prices)

Motorway from Munich: (please note no motorway toll) Motorway exit Siegsdorf - Lofer - Saalfelden - Maishofen - Saalbach-Hinterglemm - continue to Hinterglemm

after the tunnel in Hinterglemm turn left, then right at the first junction onto Schwarzacherweg - after approx. 250 m (left) you will reach the Unterschwarzachhof. A free car park is available for our hotel guests. An e-charging station can be used (for a fee). From the hotel you can reach the finish area of the Alpine World Ski Championships on foot in just a few minutes. Or you can use the ski connection via the 12er X-Press and the Zwölferkogel cable car to follow the races along the tracks.

approx. 80 m after the tunnel exit, turn left into the Zwölferkogel car park.

Tauern motorway (A10): Exit Bischofshofen - Schwarzach/St. Veit - Zell am See - Maishofen - Saalbach-Hinterglemm - continue to Hinterglemm - after the tunnel in Hinterglemm you reach the hotel as follows

to the hotel:

From the Unterschwarzachhof to the event location (12-er Kogel)

From the hotel exit, walk 150 metres down the road, then turn left towards Zwölfergkogel - when you reach the main road, turn left again and go straight over the bridge - and if you now turn left, you will be right in front of the finish area. Have fun.

The race track on the Zwölferkogel

All races are held on the Zwölferkogel in Hinterglemm. A mountain that combines the World Cup slopes of all disciplines with just one finish area. At the 2024 World Cup final, the athletes already had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the mountain a year before the Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach.

The women's downhill, super-G, slalom and men's slalom races will be held on the "Ulli Maier" race course, while the men's downhill, super-G, giant slalom, women's giant slalom and the team parallel competition will take place on the "Schneekristall" race course.

Ski operations (all lifts and pistes) in the entire Skicircus are also guaranteed during the SKI World Championships.

Saalbach Hinterglemm & the sport of skiing

Saalbach Hinterglemm has long been a centre of ski sport. Since 1972, when Annemarie Moser-Pröll won a World Cup race here, Saalbach Hinterglemm has established itself as a World Cup venue. The region is known for its outstanding infrastructure and passionate skiing culture. In 1991, the Alpine Ski World Championships were held here, which became known as the Sun World Championships.
