On your luxury Alpine hut holiday you can enjoy being treated in a culinary way to everything from a simple farmer’s snack through to a full gourmet meal prepared by top chefs. What makes every meal a highlight in itself is the use of selected ingredients, a love for cooking, and a perfect blend of aromas.
If requested, we can stop the fridge with drinks and selected wines before your arrival, and if you like, we can reserve a table for you in one of our restaurants in the valley for some really special time together.

If requested, we will happily deliver a complete breakfast to the Luxury chalet Schmiedalm at whatever time you like.
Each day, one of our service staff comes up to the Alm, to make sure you have everything your heart desires for breakfast. Awake to the aroma of fresh coffee and crispy farmer’s bread. She can also stay at the Alm if requested, to spoil you with the delights of freshly cooked egg dishes.
If requested, we can serve you with the delights of a several courses gourmet evening meal of (delivered to you at the Alm, or cooked in front of you by one of our chefs). This could be a sumptuous meal, a simple farmer’s snack, or a lovely fondue evening together. Our team of chefs is available at any time to pamper you in whatever culinary way you like. Our sommelier will choose suitable wines to accompany your meal and a friendly member of our service team will serve you expertly throughout the evening.

What distinguish the Hasenauer host family at the Unterschwarzachhof are tradition and their links to the surroundings. Down-to-earth, honest produce is important to them, and this is evident in the taste of the ingredients that come from their own farm. Toni, the hotel manager and a passionate farmer, puts his heart and soul into looking after his 45 Pinzgau cattle.
In our dairy on the Alm at the farm you have the opportunity of watching Jacky making cheese, and of course tasting it. But it’s not only cheese, but also fresh Alpine butter that Jacky prepares herself. This wonderfully creamy butter tastes best on freshly baked bread, garnished with herbs from the garden.
And, the aroma of freshly baked bread pervading the air is sure to make your mouth water.
The cheese dairy is a wonderful place to spend some time on a visit, and has a range of home-made produce available, from home-made jams through to Elderflower cordial, various salts, freshly baked bread, and various different cheeses. The milk and eggs available are from our farm, and all other groceriess and produce come from the local vicinity.
If you want to make the most of a day in the Glemmtal Valley, we recommend our après ski bar, chill out lounge, and our restaurant “der Schwarzacher”, whether for a snack or a main meal.
