Alpine sauna
Our block sauna reaches a temperature of 80 - 100 °C and is located at the heart of the magnificent organic green meadows of the Unterschwarzachhof. It comes with its own showers, changing rooms and vestibule. A particular highlight is the bread bath relaxation room on the top floor. Even hundreds of years ago, farmers valued the healing enzymes present in bread dough and so, true to tradition, we have created a bread baking oven where we bake fresh bread as a special relaxation room for you.

Steamy brine bath
For those who don’t like it quite so hot, this steamy brine bath with its healing salt water steam is just the thing. Brine is particularly beneficial for colds and other general illnesses.

Bio-sauna
We insist on organic even in our sauna area. Sauna Light. Our bio-sauna at around 60 °C complete with light therapy is ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to place too much pressure on their circulation.

Hay oven
Pure relaxation with the scent of freshly mowed grass, warm and aromatic neck towels and herb-infused steam from the hotel’s own organic hay. Relaxes, promotes blood flow, warms, stimulates the metabolism and boosts the lymphatic system. Various effects are experienced with herbal vapour applications to the back and shoulder area and gentle warming of the basin and a heated seat. You will also be pampered with a special foot wash while you savour the soothing effects of the hay oven.

Bread bath as a relaxation room
The beneficial characteristics of a bread bath were appreciated as far back as the Middle Ages. Our modern bread bath gives the relaxation room in the sauna block a mild, dry warmth enriched with sour dough enzymes from the oven and stimulates the metabolism. Every day, you can enjoy freshly baked bread here with home-made organic butter.

– enjoy the delicious pleasure of doing nothing... there are 5 different relaxation rooms available: our tea lounge in the beauty area, our Salve in Terra room, our fantastic panoramic rest room with cosy water beds, the bread bath relaxation room and the Mediterranean relaxation zone in the sauna area.

Bio sunbathing area
Our external facilities such as the block sauna, open-air pool, outdoor whirlpool and mountain spring pool are located at the heart of our sunbathing area which is the perfect place for families and couples to relax under the parasols. In Winter, the entire outdoor area is heated and lambskins are provided.
