Here at the Unterschwarzachhof there has been a great deal of change, although the things our guests appreciate the most have stayed the same.

New features such as the Alpenspa, the colourful external design, the chic rooms and suites and new bar and lounge are all now complete.

Following various mystery checks and strict quality controls, which continue to take place as before, we have now achieved our dream and been awarded an additional half star. We are particularly proud to be the one and only 4-star Superior Hotel in Saalbach Hinterglemm. This label is only awarded to a few top hotels in the top quality Austrian 4-star category and provides guests with yet another reason to want to stay here, guaranteeing a top-notch ambience and contemporary and trendy furnishings – a significant ‘plus’ for your perfect holiday.

In the well-being area too, we are now on the right track following the initial start-up phase and have already been tested by the Relax Guide.

We are particularly pleased to see that our hotel has been selected for inclusion in the sophisticated group of ‘Alpine Wellness Hotels’. This title is only awarded to hotels which stand out in terms of their entire range of well-being and culinary offers - in particular as a result of using Alpine, local, natural and high quality applications and products.

However, as promised, a great deal of the Unterschwarzachhof also remains the same. We are not seeking to introduce extravagance. That feeling of wanting to stay only emerges through interaction and encounter with our guests where our passion for genuine hospitality and organic farming is something you can really feel. “Satisfied guests are the norm for us – our aim is to fill our guests with exceptional enthusiasm!”
